Architect Bernard Morin and his wife Joyce Labelle decided to start out their new company the way most business owners do: by sampling their own wares. Maison Idekit is a company that designs unique and affordable shipping container homes.
After seeing the owners’ residence, it’s hard to imagine anyone turning down their services. The home is unlike any other shipping container home out there, with the outside giving basically no clues to the origins of the building material but the interior featuring exposed shipping container panels.
